What is Glasgow Culture Plan?

Culture is Glasgow’s heart. Making, sharing and enjoying culture is our right, shaping and building the future health, prosperity and sustainability of our world city and its people.

The Glasgow Culture Plan is a framework that supports new ways of doing things and new kinds of initiatives that will enable us to address important challenges.

This plan has been developed as a starting point to give people and organisations something to consider. It needs to be criticised. It needs gaps and deficiencies highlighted. If it gets things right we need to know how, where and why.

Between now and February 2020, we are asking people to tell us what they think about culture in Glasgow, and to respond to this draft document. We invite everyone to work with us to develop a plan to support culture in the city over the next 25 years.

Want to get involved?

Your voice matters. There are lots of ways to help shape the Culture Plan.

Between now and February 2020 we invite everyone to take part in the events and activities listed below - including a survey, pop-up events across the city, and a concluding breakfast event.

If you have any comments on the draft Culture Plan document, you can let us know by contacting us by email or post.

Details of how to submit a response are available on page 9 of the draft Glasgow Culture Plan.

Alternatively, you can complete our short surveys below.

Take our Survey

Our short survey is a chance to tell us about your experiences of culture in Glasgow and respond to the draft Culture Plan.

We want to find out about the activities that are important to you, to help us understand how the Culture Plan can support the city's diverse communities in the future.

The survey should take around 10 minutes to complete.

There are two ways to complete the survey. You can respond as either an individual, telling us about your own experiences of culture in Glasgow, or from the perspective of an organisation you represent.
